Telecom

Most Vendors Stop At The Dial Tone

The part that matters to a business is what happens after the call connects. The fax that becomes a PDF in the right folder and a webhook to the right system. The text that reaches the channel someone is actually watching. The number that ports on the promised day, without a Monday morning outage. We do the telecom, and then we do the wiring on the other side of it.

We operate this, not just resell it
  • A Telnyx-backed cloud fax platform we built and run. Send and receive from a web portal or REST API. Searchable history with per-fax cost, and PDF download.
  • Numbers provisioned by state and area code, CNAM handled, and porting from an existing carrier when you already have the number your customers know.
  • Signed webhooks: account-level or per-number, HMAC-SHA256, in JSON, XML or form-encoded. Whatever is on the receiving end can verify the sender.
  • Email-to-fax and fax-to-email, because the people who still need fax are rarely the people who want an API.
Fax is not a legacy curiosity in healthcare, legal or logistics. It is a compliance requirement with a 1980s interface, so we gave it an API.
What we run

Four Things, In Production Today

01

Cloud Fax, With A Real API

Our own multi-tenant platform, built on Telnyx. Everything the portal does, the API does.

  • Send and receive by web portal, REST API, or plain email
  • Searchable history: filters, PDF download, per-fax cost
  • Inbound fax delivered as email with the PDF attached
  • Account-level and per-number webhooks, HMAC-SHA256 signed
  • Organisation-scoped isolation, per-page billing, downloadable invoices
  • Team members invited with granular permissions
  • Admin view that can trace a single fax end to end
02

Messaging Routed Where People Look

An inbound text is worthless in a mailbox nobody opens. We route messaging into the tool the team already has on a second monitor.

  • Inbound SMS on a business number pushed into Teams or chat
  • Routing rules by number, keyword or sender
  • Delivery into a ticket queue rather than a person's phone
  • Consent and opt-out handling. See our messaging terms
03

Hosted Voice And Connectivity

Phone service and internet connectivity, provided and supported by us so you are not the one on hold with a national carrier.

  • Hosted phone systems, provisioned and supported
  • Business internet sourced and managed
  • One number to call when something is wrong: ours
  • We handle the carrier escalation, including the parts that take three calls
04

Legacy Protocol Bridges

The integrations that keep an older trading partner or clinical system talking to a modern one. Unglamorous, and frequently the thing blocking a migration.

  • Fax over API and fax over email
  • Custom EDI build-outs
  • XMPP and FTP transports
  • Unlisted protocols. Ask us, we have probably touched it
Numbers and porting

The Part That Goes Wrong On A Monday

Porting a number is the single most disruptive routine operation in telecom, and it goes wrong in the same handful of ways every time. Here is how we handle it, including the parts other vendors leave to chance.

New numbers
Provisioned by state and area code, so the number looks local to the people you want calling it. CNAM set at the same time rather than as an afterthought nobody notices until a call displays as "Unknown".
Porting an existing number
We collect what the losing carrier actually needs before we submit: the bill copy, the exact service address, and the authorised name on the account. A rejected port restarts the clock rather than pausing it.
The date
We will not give you a port date the carrier has not confirmed. A guessed date that slips costs more trust than the honest range it replaced.
The cutover window
We schedule it deliberately and keep the old path live until the new one has passed a real inbound test. Not a test call from us to ourselves.
Ownership
Your numbers are your asset. If you leave, we hand you the account and support the port out. A vendor holding a number hostage is holding your customers hostage.
The wiring

Where Telecom Meets Your Software

This is the difference between a phone bill and a capability. Every surface below is one we run in production on our own platform.

SurfaceWhat it gives you
REST API, token authenticatedSend, query status, list history, read pricing, manage webhooks. The portal is a client of the same API
Signed webhooksAccount-level or per-number, JSON / XML / form-encoded, HMAC-SHA256 signed so the receiver can verify it was us
Email as a transportSend by emailing a monitored mailbox; receive as email with the document attached. For the staff who will never use an API
Document storageObject storage with retention you choose, and a downloadable copy of everything sent and received
Cost visibilityPer-page pricing surfaced per transaction, not reconstructed from a monthly invoice
Operational viewSystem health, background job monitoring, and per-transaction tracing when someone asks "did it go through"
What we don't sell

Where Our Control Actually Ends

Telecom is a chain of providers. Pretending otherwise is how customers end up angry at the wrong company.

A carrier SLA we did not author

We build on carrier infrastructure. We will show you the underlying terms rather than restating them as our own promise. We also tell you which failures are ours to fix, and which ones we escalate on your behalf.

A 24/7 network operations centre

We do not staff one and will not imply we do. Support is working hours with next-working-day response outside them, stated in the contract.

A port date nobody has confirmed

The losing carrier controls that date. We will give you the realistic range and the confirmed date the moment it exists, and never the optimistic one to close a deal.

Lock-in through your numbers

If you leave, you take the numbers. We hand over the account and support the port out. It is the same way we would want to be treated on the way in.

That might be porting a main line without downtime, or getting faxes into a system instead of a printer. Or making an inbound text reach the person who can act on it.

No spam. TechJoy will never share your information. We use your phone number only to reply.

Capabilities on this page describe the telecom platform TechJoy built and operates, running on carrier infrastructure we do not own. No client is named. Messaging programmes are subject to our SMS terms and conditions. Carrier-dependent items, such as porting timelines and network availability, are governed by the underlying carrier's terms. We will show you those terms rather than restate them.
